Have you heard the news? The #EERS20 Call for Proposals is open! Proposals are due Dec 2. More info below.
The Eastern Evaluation Research Society (EERS) is pleased to invite your proposals for the 43rd Annual Conference (#EERS20) to be held on April 26-28, 2020. This year’s theme - Capacity, Complexity, Collaboration - recognizes that the roles of evaluators have become increasing challenging in today’s complex world. Proposals are due by December 2, 2019. You can learn more about the theme and proposal process on our website.
The EERS Board is excited to announce a few new features for this year’s event. First, the conference will be held at our new home , the Chauncey Hotel and Conference Center in Princeton, New Jersey. This venue is easily accessible by public transportation while still offering the same retreat feel that EERS has fostered in previous years. Also new this year is our Wild Card session format , for which presenters can think outside of the box and propose their own type of presentation for the program committee to review. Lastly, for the first time, we are offering Nonprofit Evaluator Support of $200 for up to 5 first-time nonprofit evaluator attendees who are working to advance equity.
EERS is committed to supporting the next generation of evaluators. As part of this effort, we are continuing to provide financial support for undergraduate and graduate students to attend. This year’s conference offers a 50% registration discount, 8 $125 poster awards, & 2 $250 stipends for oral presentations.
We hope to see you at #EERS20! Please spread the word about the proposal process among your networks. To receive the most up-to-date information about the conference, follow us on social media (@EasternEval) and sign up for our email list.
