Cartoon Guide to Eval Central Changes

Welcome to the new Eval Central!  This little cartoon guide will explain what’s changed.

Eval Central's overarching goal is to connect eval bloggers with an audience interested in eval content

Eval Central’s main purpose is to help connect Eval Bloggers with an audience interested in Eval Content.  The underlying logic is simple.  It’s hard for most bloggers to produce content with the consistency necessary to pull in a regular readership.  By combining feeds, it’s possible to create a site with consistent evaluation content paving the way for the development of a new shared audience.

Sharing and Commenting

Eval Central now allows for social media sharing and commenting

The new format moves Eval Central from a linking platform to a republishing platform.  Basically, you can now read, share, and comment directly on Eval Central.

Mobile Responsive

Eval Central resizes to match the device used to access the site

Now more than ever, people access online content with a variety of devices.  The new site is mobile responsive, meaning it should look nice on any device.

Translate

Eval Central includes a Google Translate button

Eval Central does not close the door to bloggers writing in languages other than English.  The new translate button is setup to help breakdown the language barrier.

Archive

Eval Central separately archives member blog posts

One of the additional benefits of a republishing platforms is that you essentially setup a regularly updating archive of eval content.  Republishing is preservation in the digital age.
